Welcome to my (admittedly crude) tool for generating a custom roster sig for Marvel Heroes. This updated help file is courtesy of @dreamelder at the forums.
-
Step 1: Use this site. Congratulations! You have completed Step 1.
-
Step 2: Make sure you use a setting that has "transparency" in the settings>icon set dropdown. "Item portraits" uses team-up token images, and all heroes are in their default poses. "Glamour" has the costume screen poses, and portrait-sized team-up images.
-
Step 3: Select any character tile that has been dragged into the "Drop character here" area.
-
Step 4: In the far left, is a text area. Any number here other than zero will then display as a level number. Note: to change style of the numbers, you can change "font" in the settings options. On the far right is a colors dropdown.
-
Step 5: Write in the level you want to show, select your costume, and select the color you prefer.
-
Step 6: Select "create sig" option in settings, once you have all your heroes/team-ups arranged and colored/customized as you wish.
-
Step 7: copy all the text in the code area, by placing your cursor in the text box then using the keyboard shorcut "ctrl+a" to select all, then keyboard shortcut "ctrl+c" to copy it. (Windows)You can type in a keyword/shortcut to load your customized roster later, and click "save/close."
-
Step 8: in the Marvel heroes forums, log in, click "edit profile" then select "edit signature" in the left side bar. You will then see a large text field: paste the copied code from sean's tool there, and save.
You should then display your roster signature!
That's it! Let me know of any problems via the forums. This thread is the best place to post bug reports, feature requests, and lavish praise.
Important: Credit to @zztodd on the forums for the images; I only wrote this code and the sig-generating code, he has done all of the hard work. Additional credit to @docslax for the tooltip-generating code and @dreamelder for the cool backgrounds and the above help text..
